FAQ
GSM, tooth and sizing
The three numbers on a pad cover, and what each of them actually changes under a pencil.
Ordering and delivery
What does delivery cost and how long does it take?
Free on orders of ₹999 and above, otherwise a flat ₹49 anywhere in India. We pack within 1 business day in Gurugram and transit runs 2-7 business days — 2-4 business days to a metro, 4-7 business days further out. Door to door, plan for 3-8 business days.
How can I pay?
UPI in advance, or Cash on Delivery. Cards are not accepted — no credit card payments, no debit card payments, and no PayPal.
How do I track my order?
A tracking link is emailed and texted to you on the day of dispatch. Courier scans can lag a day, especially over a weekend.
Returns and problems
Can I return something I have changed my mind about?
Yes, within 10 days of delivery, provided it is unused and still in its original packaging with the invoice. Full conditions are on the Refund and Returns Policy page.
What if it arrives broken or does not work?
Film the unboxing, then tell us within 48 hours. We replace it or refund it in full and we pay the return shipping. To be clear about what that is: a replacement route for an item that arrived damaged or dead, not a six-month or manufacturer warranty, and we do not claim to offer one.
Choosing paper you will actually fill
What does GSM actually change?
How much liquid the sheet can take before it buckles. Under 120 gsm is for pencil and dry media; 160 to 190 handles light ink and marker; a genuine wash needs 200 gsm and above, and watercolour proper is happiest at 300. Every listing here gives the figure.
Smooth or rough paper?
Smooth for detail, pen and fine graphite — the line stays where you put it. A fine tooth grabs pigment and is better for charcoal, pastel and expressive pencil. Rough is for wet work, where the texture is part of the result.
Will markers bleed through?
On ordinary sketch paper, yes — alcohol markers go through almost anything under 160 gsm. Use a sheet marked bleedproof or marker paper, or accept it and work on one side only, which is what most people end up doing.
Spiral or bound?
Spiral lies flat and lets you fold the cover back, which matters if you draw standing up. Bound books survive a bag better and keep a body of work together. Neither is better paper — the binding is a habit, not a quality.
Do you have a shop I can visit?
